Let’s get started with the first project of your crochet journey.

First we will make a simple scrubby, without border. Then we will add a border to this scrubby by learning the slip knot.

Materials Needed

  • 100% Acrylic yarn
  • 5 mm crochet hook
  • scissors
  • Yarn needle (for weave ends)

Steps to Make Single Crochet Face Scrubbies

  • Make slip knot, chain 10
  • From the second chain of hook, make 9 single crochet stitches in every chain.
  • chain 1, turn your piece.
  • again make 9 single crochet stitches in every previous stitches.
  • make 10 rows like that.
  • fasten off.
  • weave the ends.
