Today we are going to talk about a simple and versatile stitch – the Half Double Crochet Stitch. This stitch is slightly smaller than double crochet and slightly larger than single crochet, hence its name is half double crochet stitch.

What is Half Double Crochet Stitch?

Half Double Crochet is a stitch that makes your fabric a little stretchy and soft. This stitch is used in blankets, sweaters, scarves and many other projects. It is higher in height than single crochet, but still looks tight and neat.
