Pattern to make Granny Square
ch4
Join the loop on your hook to the first chain. This will form a circle. We need to work within this circle.
4 chain, count it as a tr
[3dc, 1tr] × 4 this will make a square.
Don’t make last tr. Because we have already made it by making 4 chains in the beginning.
join the last dc with the 4th chain which we made earlier.
Your first square is ready. Now make the second one.
Second square –
4 chain (count as a tr.)
[7dc (2dc, tr, 2dc)] x 4 = {48}
The beauty of this granny square Christmas ornament lies in its simplicity—each round adds more texture and warmth to your design.
Third square -4 chain (count as a tr.)
[11dc, (2dc, tr, 2dc)) x 4 = {64}
